If $\left(2x-14\right)$ and $11\left( x+7 \right)$ are supplementary angles then find the angles.

SOLUTION
$2x-14+11(x+7)=180^o$ ($\because$ linear pair)

$2x-14+11x+77=180^o$

$13x=180-63=117$

$\therefore x=\dfrac{117}{13}=9^o$

$\therefore 2x-14=18-14=4^o$

$11(x+7)=11(9+7)=176^o$

The angles are $4^o$ and $176^o$.
