If $$ x = a + bt + ct^2$$, where 'x' is in metre and 't' in second. What are the units of b and 'c'.

SOLUTION
The given quantity is   $$x = a+bt+ct^2$$
So,   $$[x]= [a] = [b][t] = [c][t^2]$$
Or,  units of $$b$$,    $$[b] = \dfrac{[x]}{[t]} = m/s$$
Or,  units of $$c$$,    $$[c] = \dfrac{[x]}{[t^2]} = m/s^2$$
