# In the given figure, the two lines $AB$ and $CD$ intersect at a point $O$ such that $\angle BOC={125}^{o}$. Find the values of $x,y$ and $z$

##### SOLUTION
From the figure we know that $\angle AOC$ and $\angle BOC$ form a linear pair of angles

so it can be written as

$\angle AOC+\angle BOC={ 180 }^{ o }$

by substituting the values  we get

$x+{125}^{o}={ 180 }^{ o }$

$x={55}^{o}$

from the figure we know that $\angle AOD$ and $\angle BOC$ are vertically opposite angles

so we get

$y={125}^{o}$

from the figure we know that $\angle BOD$ and $\angle AOC$ are vertically opposite angles

so we get

$z={55}^{o}$

therefore the values of $x,y,z$ are ${55}^{o},{125}^{o},{55}^{o}$

You're just one step away
