From the picture it is clear that $\angle PAC=\angle ACS$. [ Alternate angles]
So,
$\angle PAB+\angle BAC=\angle ACS$ [ Since $\angle PAC=\angle PAB+\angle BAC$]

or, $\angle BAC=40^o$.
