# One of the angles forming a linear pair is a right angle. What can you say about its other angle?

##### SOLUTION
We know that, two angles are said to be linear pair of angles, if they are adjacent angles and their sum is $180^o$.
let the two angles be $x$ and $y$, which formed linear pair.
Given, one of the angles is right angle, i.e., $90^o$
=> $x = 90^o$
$x+ y = 180^o$
$90 + y = 180^o$
$y = 90^o$
$\therefore$ other angle is also a right angle.
