# The difference between two supplementary angles is $100^o$. Then find the angles.

##### SOLUTION
Given the difference between two supplementary angles is $100^o$.

Let the angles be $x$ and $y$.

Then according to the problem,

$x+y=180^o$......(1) and $x-y=100^o$.....(2).

Now,Add (1) and (2) we get,

$2x=280^o$

$x=140^o$

substitute in $(1)$

$y=180^o-140^o$

$y=40^o$.

You're just one step away
