# Two angles are supplementary and one angle is twice the other angle then, find the both angles.

$\displaystyle { 60 }^{ o },{ 120 }^{ o }$

##### SOLUTION
Let one angle be $\displaystyle { x }^{ o }$
then other angle is $\displaystyle { 2x }^{ o }$ (As twice of one angle)
Since two angles are supplementary
$\displaystyle { x }^{ o }+{ 2x }^{ o }={ 180 }^{ o }$
$\displaystyle { 3x }^{ o }={ 180 }^{ o }$
$\displaystyle x=\frac { 180 }{ 3 } ={ 60 }^{ o }$
One angle is $\displaystyle { 60 }^{ o }$,
Other angle $\displaystyle { 2x }^{ o }=2\times { 60 }^{ o }={ 120 }^{ o }$
