SOLUTION
For complementary angles
$$\displaystyle \left( 2x+10 \right)^{o} +\left( x+20 \right)^{o} ={ 90 }^{ o }$$
$$\displaystyle 3x+30^{o}={ 90 }^{ o }$$
$$\displaystyle 3x={ 60 }^{ o }$$
$$\displaystyle x={ 20 }^{ o }$$
